Breakfast every morning, a host’s table two evenings a week. Nothing complicated — home cooking.
Breakfast, and the host’s table
Breakfast is served until ten, in the kitchen or outside if the weather is good. Bread, home-made jams, seasonal fruit, eggs on request. The coffee is brewing while you come downstairs. Some mornings there are croissants left from the baker in Chenonceaux; other mornings it is toast — it depends who cycled down the evening before.
Two evenings a week we all eat together, at the same table. One dish, whatever the market had that day. The plates come from the dresser and they do not all match. Let us know on the morning itself if you would like to join.
Nothing fixed as regards prices: breakfast is included in the room rate, and the host’s table is settled on the spot, according to the day’s menu.
